The Beauty of the Traditional
Korean Architecture
................................................................................................
The
traditional Korean architecture satisfies the moderation
between the magnificence (like the Chinese architecture)
and the monotony (like the Japanese architecture).
In the traditional Korean architecture, it is able
to experience not only the elegance and the dignity,
but also the harmony of the splendid color.
The roof ridges have the coloration of low hue and
middle-tone brightness, which is more close to the
natural coloration. The traditional coloration of
Korean architecture excludes the artificiality but
concentrates more on natural beauty.
The roof top of the traditional Korean architecture
creates a solid three dimensional curve. This typical
style of the traditional Korean roofs and eaves
are very different from the Chinese architecture,
and it stands as one of the most beautiful characteristics
of the oriental architecture.
PaperMagic recreated the color and the curve of
the very own traditional Korean architecture, by
using exquisite computer graphics. PaperMagic reflects
every single details of the actual Changduk Palace.

Easy
to Assemble and Disassemble
.....................................................................................
|
|
 |
Every
single piece of the PaperMagic drawings are
slightly cut; therefore, it is easy to detach
the parts from the main drawings. Consequently,
PaperMagic is easy to assemble compare to the
existing 3D paper models, such as the old European
castles.
For
instance, PaperMagic can be completed in 1-2
hours when the Eiffel Tower of Paris takes 30-120
hours to assemble. |
Just
like the traditional Korean architecture resisted
using nails and pegs, PaperMagic also banned the
use of glues. All the parts can be assembled without
the use of glues or adhesives.
PaperMagic's roof tops and walls are designed to
fix in cross shapes, and each parts are designed
to endure each others weight.

Easy to Carry
...............................
 |
PaperMagic
is designed on a drawing paper, and each pieces
are assembled to end up with the final model.
In addition, all the assemble materials are
compactly packed in a A4 size box; therefore,
it is easy to carry without the worry of damage
to the product. |
The
outer box is made of thick hard boards, which makes
the product free from pressure. Therefore, it is
suitable for souvenirs, which takes long conveyance
procedure.

..................................................................
Regardless
of age or skill, the user can be kindly guided by
PaperMagic's characteristic simple instruction manual
throughout the entire procedure of construction.

to finish certain procedure are drawn on the top
of the procedure page.

Therefore,
it does not take long to search for the parts needed.
For a better understanding, the actual picture of
the construction procedure is included in the user's
manual. It also includes the shape of the hand,
so that it is easy to follow the direction..
After every procedure, there's a small picture that
shows where the specific procedure takes place in
the whole prodecure. It keeps the general flow of

Traditional Architectural Style,
¡á-
Computer Graphics, - Electronic Circuit All Combined
The
unique window style of Korean Palace is the critical
part of the Korean architecture. It reveals the
sonorous atmosphere of the characteristic Korean
emotions. This unique style is neither similar to
Chinese window style that put emphasis on ornaments
nor Japanese style which is simple and monotonous.
Korean window style is more generous and pleasant
compare the other two.
PaperMagic-Injung Hall's electronic circuit package
(will be released on Jan 1999) maximizes the effect
of the unique style of the Korean windows by illumination.
PaperMagic-Injung Hall will make a great souvenir,
or will be a great present for your loved ones,
for it is a miniature construction of Korean architecture.
